1. The service
Deal Shark provides a shared private Telegram channel containing selected Facebook Marketplace New Listing alerts. Qualifying alerts may include title, price, creation time, alert time and a link to the original listing.
The founding beta is scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, Sydney time. Operating times, features or coverage may change as the beta develops; material changes will be communicated.
2. Eligibility and account access
You must be at least 18 and provide accurate checkout and Telegram details. Membership access is personal and non-transferable. Do not share channel access, copy or redistribute the alert feed, or use the service unlawfully.
3. Price, renewal and payment
Membership costs A$29 per month, charged in advance through Stripe. It automatically renews monthly at A$29 until cancelled. If a payment fails, access may be paused while payment is resolved.
4. Two-hour live money-back guarantee
Your voluntary guarantee begins when Deal Shark activates your channel access during live operating hours. To use it, email support@dealshark.com.au within your first two live hours. A valid request receives a full refund and channel access ends immediately.
This guarantee is additional to, and does not limit, any rights or remedies you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal. Except for a valid guarantee request or another remedy required by law, cancellation stops the next renewal and access continues until the end of the current paid month.
6. Alert limitations and safe buying
Alert timing and availability depend on listing visibility, location, networks, third-party services and sellers. Deal Shark does not promise universal coverage, continuous operation, seller response, item availability, authenticity, value or profit.
You remain responsible for checking the item, seller, condition, authenticity, price and transaction safety. Never send deposits or sensitive information without independently verifying the transaction.
7. Third-party platforms
Deal Shark is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meta or Facebook. Stripe, Telegram, Facebook Marketplace and other third-party services have their own terms and may change or become unavailable. Deal Shark does not ask members for Facebook passwords, cookies or access tokens.
8. Conduct, suspension and ending access
We may suspend or end access for non-payment, sharing or redistributing the feed, abusive conduct, unlawful use, or a material breach of these terms. If Deal Shark ends a paid membership without member breach, we will provide an appropriate unused-period remedy where required.
9. Intellectual property
The Deal Shark name, branding, website and original service materials belong to Deal Shark. Membership gives you permission to use the alert service personally during your paid access; it does not transfer ownership.
10. Consumer rights and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, Deal Shark is not responsible for indirect loss, lost opportunities or decisions made about third-party listings.
11. Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms as the beta develops. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect where practical. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
